This theatre piece was a reaction to the duration of the economic crisis in our lives. A crisis that drained everyone’s energy to fight and transformed Portugal in a walking dead hopeless landscape. The show is a reflection about this apocalyptic sensation. The starting point of this creation was Inferno of Dante’s Divine Comedy. We used the formal structure of this text to build the dramaturgical structure of the performance. We were interested in creating a parallel between the different circles of Hell and the possible contemporary representations of this imagery of torture and suffering.

Presented at Festival Temps d’Images (Lisbon), in 2012.
